I used it to connect an Apple Airport router to my receiver. Works as advertised. No apparent signal loss.
I mean, how much power is your iPod pushing just with its batteries anyway. The sound is a bit low, but what do you expect from a 6 foot RCA adapter-they're not exactly thin headphone cables. Besides, that's what the volume on the amp or receiver is for. Compared to cables supposidly made for iPods but does the same exact thing these cables do at double the price, these cables are a very good buy. The sound is a bit low though, but that's what the volume on my amp is for.
Sound is awesome.Con: None really might have to grind a little off the rubber outer coat if using it on a Laptop or PC. Mich better then to light cheap-o-crap cables you can get off Ebay, Radio Shack.Pro: Nice and thick, Not cheaply made will last longer then the mp3 rca cables you can get off Ebay or from Radio Shack. I had to shave an tiny bit off the top off of the input jack shell so I could plug it in my laptop the rubber cases was too thick. This is the best mp3 cable I ever brought.
Monster Cable Standard THX I-MINI - Audio cable - RCA (M) - mini-phone stereo 3.5 mm (M) - 8 ft - shieldedDecent cables, but you are definitely paying extra for the Monster name.
very solid and is longer than most so it allows for wider speaker separation. nice to finally find a solid cable that will hold up for more than a few months of use.
